The staff of St. Michael's High began the School Development process in the 2004-2005 school year. At that time we surveyed the students, parents, and staff to assist in identifying the strengths and needs of the school and providing future direction. The results of those surveys, combined with an internal review of school results and school policies and practices, enabled us to develop the Vision and Mission Statements of the school and establish goals.
We envision St. Michael’s Regional High School as a safe, caring and appealing environment. Its aim is to motivate, challenge, and develop the “whole student” into a productive and lifelong learner in response to an ever-changing global community. This vision will be lived within a climate if enthusiasm and acceptance of the unique needs of the adolescent. All stakeholders will help develop and expect individual success through the nurturing of creativity, individuality, and social responsibility.
The community of St. Michael’s Regional High strives to empower its students to reach their full potential by fostering integrity, diversity, and lifelong learning. St. Michael’s Regional High dedicates itself to creating a safe and respectful learning environment promoting individual and social responsibility where all its members actively participate.
